Discover the charm of the Rivergate Farm barn! Join us on Fridays and Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and indulge in delicious meals (and heavenly cakes). Relax, or stroll through our farm shop, and explore an exquisite selection of artisanal products.

The Eatery is your one-stop-shop for decadent cakes, seasonal lunches and freshly brewed coffee. Cozy up next to the fire in the winter months or opt for a table overlooking the gardens when the sun is shining. We have a monthly themed lunch on a select Sunday each month, so be sure to check our events page and book your table ahead.

Farm shop

After a bite to eat, pop in and explore our Farm Shop for a treasure-trove of curated artisanal products. We proudly offer a selection of gifts and products that we know and love. Savour the delightful creations prepared by our in-house chef: mouthwatering ready-made meals, rusks, biscotti, and preserves. And don’t go home without our delicious farm butter!

The Garden.

Take a stroll through 15 acres of gardens, designed by renowned landscape architect, Franchesca Watson. Nature lovers and green thumbs will delight in the meticulously cultivated flower beds, fruitful orchards and flourishing vegetable garden. Not only pretty, our gardens serve a purpose – providing fresh, sustainable, organic produce to our eatery.

Celebrate occasions big and small in our unique venue at The Barn. Over the years we’ve garnered a name for ourselves with our themed events, on a selected Sunday every month.
